The Chequamegon Mitigation Bank was constructed in Spring 2013 and the first three years of monitoring show we are on the road to creating a successful wetland restoration! 2016 credits are available.
A mitigation bank is a wetland area that has been restored or enhanced for the purpose of providing compensation for unavoidable impacts to aquatic resources that have been permitted by the State and Federal regulatory agencies.
The Wolf River Basin Wetland Mitigation Bank has been constructed and we anticipate a 2016 credit release soon!
